Environmental sustainability
It is clear that drastic global warming and changes to our ecological systems are resulting in dramatic environmental consequences.
As a company, we are striving to reduce our energy consumption and our overall CO2 footprint. We know that we need to manage our use of natural resources in order to act sustainably in the long term. For this reason, we have set up a project group with the aim of embedding environmental sustainability in the DNA of our company and making it a central part of all our processes and actions.
At HEITEC, we want to set a good example and reduce energy consumption, costs and CO2 emissions in our company and for our customers through targeted measures.
Responsible handling of old appliances
By reselling replaced hardware, HEITEC IT gives "old devices" a second chance by returning them to the market. Since 2022, 289 notebooks/PCs and 210 smartphones have been recycled in this way.
HEITEC takes part in Earth Hour 2023
Earth Hour - a global climate and environmental protection campaign - took place on March 25, 2023. The idea is: "Once a year, people all over the world switch off the lights for one hour. Thousands of cities also take part and shroud their most famous buildings in darkness. The aim is to set an example for environmental and climate protection." (Source WWF.com).
HEITEC takes a stand against environmental pollution
On September 16, 2023, a team from the Erlangen and Eckental HEITEC offices took part in the global WORLD CLEAN UP DAY.
On this day, committed and voluntary groups come together to set an example against the ever-increasing problem of environmental pollution. HEITEC supported this campaign with the strong support of our young HEITEC talents.
Social engagement
As a company, the topic of "social commitment" is particularly close to our hearts. Our sites have been supporting many different organizations and initiatives for many years. You can see a few examples here.
HEITEC Systemtechnik runs for a good cause
Under the motto "We help running", a team from HEITEC Systemtechnik GmbH took part in the children's charity run in Amstetten, Austria on October 01, 2023. The entry fee was used to support Malter Kinderhilfe. Our team also supported this great campaign last year and campaigned for the children's hospice "Hilde Umdasch Haus".
HEITEC is committed to healthy nutrition
HEITEC PTS has been sponsoring the 'School Fruit' project at a local kindergarten for several years now
The aim of the project is to teach children about healthy eating and to awaken their interest in sporting activities, a topic that fits perfectly into HEITEC's health and sports program.
HELP! HEITEC helps!
For years, our Crailsheim site has been helping the HELP! organization to achieve its goal of providing medical help to one person every day!
From 2008 to 2021, the organization has made over 5,000 operations possible and, together with other aid measures, has collected and spent donations amounting to 1.5 million euros.
Sustainability determines how we interact with each other
At HEITEC, the physical and mental health of our colleagues is particularly important to us. To this end, we invest in a wide range of health and sports programs and promote an open, inclusive and psychologically safe working environment. Professional training and development is also an important topic for us to ensure that our employees have an exciting and long-lasting future with us.
HEITEC signs the Diversity Charter
At HEITEC, we don't see diversity as a challenge. We see it as an opportunity for innovation, creativity and new possibilities. We want to foster a corporate culture that is inclusive and open to new ideas - free from prejudice and exclusion. As part of our "RIDE" network, which stands for respect, inclusion, diversity and equality, we have signed the Diversity Charter - a first step in the right direction.

At HEITEC, we actively invest in the health of our employees. Whether it's Health Days, BackActive courses, HIIT or our HEITEC Active Days - we always keep moving! This also benefits our mental health - a subject we approach openly at HEITEC.
