HEITEC enables over 2,000 customers to increase their productivity and optimize their products by providing technologically high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. A workforce of over 1,200 employees at numerous locations worldwide provides high-quality industry know-how and expertise to our customers.

Our employees have in-depth technical knowledge and are experienced in meeting the specific requirements present of various industries, including: automotive, packaging technology, energy, medicine, food and beverage, maritime, aerospace, and logistics.

Our management

Richard Heindl
Owner of the HEITEC Group & President of HEITEC Holding GmbH

Richard Heindl founded HEITEC GmbH in 1973. In the years that followed, the HEITEC Group, which is overseen by the HEITEC Holding GmbH, was formed. The HEITEC Group comprises of more than 1200 employees at 20 locations in Germany and abroad and consists of HEITEC Holding GmbH, HEITEC AG, EMPIC, HEITEC Innovations GmbH and our associated companies softgate, HEISAB and valicare.

Pia Meyer
Director of HEITEC Holding GmbH

Pia Meyer is the daughter of company owner Richard Heindl and joined the HEITEC Group in January 2022. Pia Meyer spent 16 years studying and working in English-speaking countries and looks back on a career as a management consultant at Deloitte LLP, where she led international projects and gained experience mainly in the private and FSI sector. Pia Meyer took over the role of Director at HEITEC Holding GmbH in 2023.

Johannes Feldmayer
Chief Representative of HEITEC Holding GmbH

After serving as a member of the Group Executive Board of Siemens AG from 2003 to 2007, Johannes Feldmayer took on the role of Chief Representative of the HEITEC Group in 2009. Johannes Feldmayer is also a member of the Board of Directors of LEUZE electronic GmbH + Co KG and TGW Logistics GmbH Co KG.

Michael Frieß
Chief Executive Officer of HEITEC AG

Michael Frieß was appointed CEO of HEITEC AG on July 1, 2022. In his role, he focuses on the development of the Group's global automation and digitalization strategy. He previously contributed, as Managing Director of the subsidiary HEITEC PTS in Kuchen, significantly to the company's success with his extensive operational knowledge..

Michael Künnell
Chief Financial Officer of HEITEC AG

Michael Künnell took over the role of Chief Financial Officer of HEITEC AG on April 1, 2022. Since then, he has been responsible for managing the Controlling, Accounting, Human Resources, IT and Purchasing departments. He has more than 25 years of experience in international, senior financial positions at organisations such as Diehl and Rehau.

Marcus Wittmann
Chief Sales Officer of HEITEC AG

Marcus Wittmann assumed the role of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) on July 1, 2023 and is responsible for the special machinery division, which he managed before his appointment to. He previously studied plastics technology and gained extensive practical experience in automation and process engineering, including at Wieland and as division manager for the "Windows" division at Rehau.

Today

Today the HEITEC group has more than 1,200 employees and had a sales volume of about 140 million euros in 2022.

2017

Since February 1, 2017, the headquarters address has been:

2010 - 2016

We opened a new location in Eckental.

Branch offices were also established in Munich, Augsburg, Kiel, Hamburg, and Bönnigheim, Germany.

2000

We became HEITEC AG and incorporated parts of the HEITEC Group.

1991 - 1999

Branch offices were founded in Chemnitz, Regensburg, and Neckarsulm-Heilbronn, Germany.

1989

In 1989, the first branch office was opened in Crailsheim, Germany. HEITEC began forming subsidiaries abroad as well as acquiring shares of other companies.
