HEITEC AG joins Bavarian Chips Alliance

The initiative was founded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy with the aim of promoting cooperation and exchange between companies and with research institutions, associations and users. The plan is to use these synergies to accelerate technological progress, further strengthen the business location and make supply chains more resilient and independent - especially after the experiences of the recent past.

As a leading company in electronics, digitalisation and automation with headquarters in Erlangen, HEITEC is committed to developing innovative solutions that enable efficient, future-oriented applications for industry. In its electronics competence centre, HEITEC develops and manufactures customer-specific products ranging from simple boards to complex systems. On request, HEITEC supports its customers throughout the entire product cycle. Supply chain and obsolescence management are also part of the extensive range of services. Examples of this can be found in many industries. HEITEC is also an active member of several standardisation committees.

HEITEC will now contribute its extensive expertise to the network. The alliance offers its members a platform for the exchange of knowledge, collaboration on research and development projects and the promotion of standards and best practices. In close co-operation with other leading providers, the aim is to promote future technologies and the competitiveness of the Bavarian semiconductor industry. In return, HEITEC gains access to experts and resources to further expand its capabilities, strengthen its position in the market and enable its customers to participate in new technical developments at an early stage.
