All signs point to success

23.03.2020

Our location in Hungary has performed extremely well in its second year. The collaboration on digitalization topics with one of our customers, DMG MORI, has made an important contribution to the business success of both companies. We have therefore decided to enter into a partnership and form a joint venture.

HEITEC Hungary Kft began as a greenfield startup in the fall of 2017. The company has experienced dynamic growth for more than two years and is very much appreciated by its customers and partners for its high level of expertise and quality. The main profile of the joint venture is the development of software, electronics, mechanical design and engineering. This can relate to product development for our customers or specific customer projects. In the fall of 2019, we made additional investments and built an electronics laboratory, which we have continually expanded since then.

DMG MORI HEITEC Digital Kft.

Initially, the collaboration with DMG MORI began with tests of software systems for the Celos platform, an intuitive, app-based user interface with multi-touch control. Today, engineers are testing various DMG MORI products and applications in the testing lab. We placed great importance on creating a machine-oriented test environment in the testing lab. In addition to CELOS Ergoline panels, we can test the machine configuration in a lab environment with up to 16 axes consisting of Siemens drives. Given the especially intensive collaboration and rapid development, both companies have signed a joint venture agreement to form the subsidiary DMG MORI HEITEC Digital Kft. The new joint venture will develop software and digitalization products for the entire DMG MORI Group. Our goal is to enhance the innovation and productivity of DMG MORI with independent and dedicated feature teams. The joint venture will be led by Dr. Peter Varady, who has also been the CEO of HEITEC Hungary Kft. since March 2018 (automation.heitec.de).
