One year in China – improved market access in Asia


Almost exactly a year ago, and despite uncertainties in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, we launched our subsidiary in Shanghai, China. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our team, it has already become a model of success.

The reasons for establishing the subsidiary were to obtain easier and unobstructed access to the Chinese and all-Asian market, and to safeguard and expand existing business. We also wanted to optimize the global supply chain by selecting the best source for electronic components.

The subsidiary’s founding, setup of an infrastructure, and the introduction of SAP have been the basis for successful business operations since May. Twenty employees are now actively serving our customers. To increase customer proximity even further, we also opened the first representative office with sales personnel in Beijing. Not only that, but we also succeeded in having the company certified according to ISO 9001 within the first year. All this proves that we’re meeting requirements faster and more precisely than our market competitors.

As a result of this year-long commitment, we’ve not only provided our existing customers with satisfactory service, but have also been able to win lucrative new orders. Congratulations to colleagues at our Chinese subsidiary on your one-year anniversary!
