We create simulation models for the planning and commissioning of machines and systems in the brown and green field. Our many years of expertise, generic and specialised libraries and the use of various simulation tools enable us to implement these efficiently.

Accelerator for digital planning

During the planning stage, we use our digital models to replicate and analyse real processes, systems or environments before we start implementation. This allows you to test different scenarios and their effects in advance - without the need for costly physical prototypes. Our simulation and modelling-based planning sharpens your design, increases your engineering quality and prevents time-consuming and expensive changes in later phases.

HEITEC determines your requirements and creates your planning model based on the necessary simulation depth. In this step, the required provisions are determined and a standardised understanding of the process to be mapped is developed. If different scenarios are to be modelled, this is determined at the start of the project.

Your partner for engineering and commissioning

Simulations in engineering and commissioning are an important part of modern development and production processes. HEITEC creates simulation models for you for the virtual commissioning of machines and systems that can be tested virtually and without risk under realistic conditions. These simulations enable you to analyse the behaviour, performance and possible weak points of products or systems.

The simulation models can be transferred to your systems or hosted as a Simulation-as-a-Service (SiaaS) model on our cluster. This enables project realisation with your own developers or third parties. Our models can be connected to existing control systems or master computers for brownfield optimisations or renewals, enabling a smooth migration to new systems.

 

Simulation-based commissioning

With the help of simulations and models in engineering and commissioning, you can achieve a higher delivery quality of the software for automation and drive solutions and recognise design and process errors at an early stage. This significantly minimises the project duration. In addition, you can expand your virtual system to include logistics and simulate material flows and adapt the system software to the real system layout and actual work processes. All of this facilitates the commissioning of robots and conveyor technology as well as the testing of alternative solutions.

    Conception of a digital twin for Kroenert GmbH & Co. KG

    Kroenert GmbH & Co. KG is an internationally active manufacturer of coating, printing and laminating systems. The Hamburg-based company with over 110 years of tradition supplies turnkey system solutions in coating technology for web materials such as paper, film and foil. The product range includes complete systems as well as an extensive programme of winders and unwinders, more than 60 modular application systems as well as dryers, humidifiers and laminating units. Kroenert commissioned Heitec to generate a digital twin for the winders and unwinders to improve development, production and commissioning. At the same time, the simulation had to be able to be parameterised in real time in order to do justice to the high variability of the machinery.
