Porsche Werkzeugbau was looking for a production control system or an MES Lite for small series production of electric drives and gearboxes. Various system manufacturers had to be connected and, above all, system interfaces to the production planning system had to be ensured.Realisation
With HEITEC IDX Mobility for Porsche Werkzeugbau, an MES-capable middleware solution was found that was simple, lean and delivered the focus on shop floor transparency that the customer was looking for.
The aim was to be able to view the active order planning and status of all production-relevant assets and to provide relevant production data in a clear, seamless and traceable manner.
HEITEC IDX Mobility uses its powerful connectors for end-to-end communication with third-party systems in order to ensure traceability in this case too and provide an optimal data basis for important key information and decisions.
HEITEC IDX Mobility also fulfils the high IT requirements with modular and scalable microservices. The modules are managed in the background and offer flexibility in terms of functional expandability and communication up to the cloud.
