Complete electrical engineering for a waterworks
Our experts from the Kiel site have implemented a comprehensive project to modernise the electrotechnical equipment for the Mittelschwansen water supply association. The aim was to increase efficiency, guarantee security of supply and reduce operating costs
Realisation
The modernisation began with the installation of a new, state-of-the-art power distribution system, which laid the foundations for a reliable and efficient power supply to the waterworks. The next step was to install automation cabinets and fully automate the entire waterworks. This included the integration of state-of-the-art control and regulation technology to optimise the monitoring and control of all processes.
A particular highlight is the implementation of user-friendly control technology. This enables the water procurement association to carry out all interventions and queries conveniently via smartphone or tablet. Whether monitoring water levels, controlling pumps or analysing consumption data - all relevant information is available at any time and from any location.
The complete solution is rounded off by an integrated, certified energy management system. This system enables a detailed analysis of energy consumption and identifies potential savings in order to sustainably reduce operating costs.
Customer benefits
- Hardly any disruptions in the process
- Guaranteed security of supply thanks to access at any time and from any location
- Saving on electricity costs, so that the conversion costs are amortised within a short time
