Vestas - Wind farms

Vestas Wind Systems A/S (Copenhagen Stock Exchange: VWS.CO), based in Aarhus, Denmark, is the largest European manufacturer of wind turbines and, together with Goldwind and GE Wind, one of the largest in the world. The headquarters of Vestas Deutschland GmbH (Vestas Central Europe) is located in Husum. The company has been active here since 1986 and employs around 2000 people. Heitec carries out the finalisation work for wind turbines with medium-voltage switchgear from certain manufacturers and the integration into a wind farm consisting of several wind turbines.

Realisation

  • Carrying out the final assembly of the medium-voltage switchgear in the tower.
  • Connecting the cables for power generation and distribution within the wind farm.
  • Adjusting the protection settings on the transformer and the medium-voltage system
    Commissioning of the entire system.
  • Connecting the system to the wind farm in co-operation with the customer.
