System upgrades for radiological devices
Our medical imaging client required a streamlined solution for deploying and updating radiology software across multiple hospital sites. The goal was to develop scripts and tools that would enable automated remote deployment to ensure radiology systems were always up to date and operating efficiently without disruption to critical medical services. This project required a strong focus on automation, system monitoring and remote configuration capabilities to support the demanding requirements of a medical environment.
Realisation
Our engineers, including specialists in software engineering, DevOps and back-end development, worked to develop an automated deployment system tailored to the specific requirements of medical imaging.
The project began with an analysis of the software attributes and functionalities to determine the best methodology, and we then developed robust scripts and tools that enabled seamless system upgrades and minimised the need for on-site intervention.
Monitoring tools were also implemented to provide a real-time overview of the status of the radiology systems.
To support the deployment of virtual machines, we integrated flexible configurations that allowed new software versions to be deployed remotely with minimal user input. To improve operational efficiency, remote configuration tools were added to allow system customisation without disrupting radiologists' workflows. Rigorous testing and validation ensured compliance with medical standards and guaranteed that the system upgrades maintained the accuracy and reliability essential in healthcare.
Customer benefits
With the new automated deployment solution, our client can now efficiently update radiology software across multiple hospital sites without the need for costly and time-consuming manual updates. The automated scripts, infrastructure monitoring and remote configuration capabilities have significantly reduced downtime and improved technical support response times, allowing hospitals to benefit from the latest software features without compromising patient care. This streamlined approach has improved system reliability and enables hospitals to maintain high standards of medical imaging and diagnostics with minimal operational impact.
