Kinematics test system "Air inlet and outlet flaps"

On behalf of Nord-Micro, HEITEC AG developed and built a fully automated test and adjustment system for extended exhaust valves on the Boeing B787 model.

Realisation

The system consists of a station in which the test specimen is inserted and mechanically locked. Here, all mechanical processes of the valve are measured in their limit ranges. This includes all opening and closing processes of each individual flap of the valve. If one of these processes is out of tolerance, the individual flap is adjusted and re-measured during the test. Preparation for the tests includes monitoring the drift of the temperature and inclination sensors by the test system so that the test sequence is started when the barcode is scanned.

In the barcode test, the device-specific data is compared with the current order data. After the test, a test report is issued for each test specimen in which the corresponding measured values are stored in addition to the specific test specimen information.
