Interior test system "TSV (door side panelling)" (Mercedes E-Class)

On behalf of SMP-Samvardhana Motherson Peguform in Bötzingen, an exterior/interior supplier to several premium automotive brands, HEITEC designed and built an automated testing system for door side panelling.

Realisation

The inspection system was developed and manufactured in accordance with CE standards for the German market and has 20 high-resolution cameras and several lamps for optimum illumination of the system. All features to be inspected, such as clips and screws etc., are checked for presence, colour and correct installation within 48 seconds.
