Interior test system "STS (standard test system for electronic components)"
HEITEC developed a standard test system for Diehl Aerospace, which is used both in production and internationally in the repair stations. In conjunction with various test adapters, it is used for the functional testing of different aircraft electronics components, such as cabin lighting and emergency power supplies. In addition to functional tests, dielectric strength tests (with AC and/or DC voltage) and measurements of insulation resistance are also possible.Realisation
The test system is mounted in a standard control cabinet with integrated 19-inch racks. The functional tests to be carried out in accordance with the test specification require equipment with an AC voltage source (Pmax = 800 W), a DC voltage source (Pmax = 1 kW), a Keysight DAQ device for recording electrical measurement values, a Sefelec dielectrimeter (combination of high-voltage tester and megohmmeter) and an industrial PC for data processing. The hardware components are controlled centrally via GPIB. The PC is prepared to communicate and exchange data with the modules via a CAN bus and an RS232 connection. The test results and the contents of various EEPROMs of the modules are then made available on the computer. This data is automatically decoded, saved as a text or Excel file on the computer and prepared for analysis. Test reports can be saved as PDF files and automatically sent to a printer if required.
