Development of a web user interface
Our client required a web-based monitoring interface for their industrial software solution. This interface needed to utilise data analytics, provide real-time insights and provide intuitive control for managing multiple assets and devices. The project required a user-friendly design and a robust backend to handle large amounts of data and ensure seamless user interaction, making this interface a critical tool for operational efficiency.
Realisation
Our development team approached the project by first setting up a microservice architecture to support scalability and reliability. This architecture allowed us to isolate different functions and manage them independently, which improved the overall resilience of the system. A key focus was on data analytics, enabling users to utilise insights directly within the system. To support data-driven decisions, we used PowerBI to develop interactive dashboards that provide users with real-time visual updates on key metrics.
We then created a detailed configuration dialogue to simplify system setup and customisation options for users. Reporting capabilities were integrated to provide clear, actionable summaries of system activity, while asset and device management features were developed to allow users to monitor and control a range of industrial devices. Every aspect of the interface was carefully tested to ensure compatibility, security and ease of use, resulting in a final product that is as functional as it is intuitive.
