Control unit for an industrial dosing system
Material dosing systems are in great demand in the industry due to the increasing miniaturisation of all electronics and the associated tasks and applications for the precise dosing of adhesives, sealants, lubricants and other materials. HEITEC supplies a manufacturer of such dosing systems with the central control unit, which is specially customised to the customer's own valves.

Realisation
The user-friendly interface of the control unit ensures fast operation and precise adjustment of the valve parameters to achieve optimum dosing results at all times. In addition, all peripheral devices such as heating and pressure supply are already integrated in the unit. All programmable functions can be set intuitively and precisely using the push buttons and the easy-to-operate pressure regulators. With the integrated display, the current set and actual values of pressure and temperature can be checked at any time and adjusted if necessary. The device contains all the necessary connections for the compressed air supply, valve control, heating (optional) and power supply.
The customer decided in advance in favour of an EMC-tight housing from the HeiPac Vario module series, which can be found in the HEITEC standard portfolio. Equipped with flanges, additional handles and feet, the device can be operated on the laboratory bench or integrated into a 19" cabinet. The HeiPac Vario module is cost-effective and is characterised by its compact and stable all-metal housing.
The two front panels accommodate the rotary knobs for pressure control and the complete operating unit. The outputs (pressure and control) for the valves, the optional heating connection and the supply plug are located on the rear.
To guarantee safe operation, the device works with low voltage (24 VDC) and guarantees protection class IP40. The required operating voltage is supplied by an external power supply unit. HEITEC takes care of the complete assembly of the required modules, the pneumatic expansion and the complete wiring of the device.
