HEITEC at the Industry Days 2026

Pavilion 308, 308A, 309| 18-21 May 2026 in Budapest

Visit us from 18 to 21 May in Budapest at the Industry Days, where players from a wide range of industries come together, including the machine industry, welding technology, surface treatment, automation, logistics and warehouse technology, robotics, occupational safety, industrial digitalisation and innovative manufacturing technologies.

This year, as an official distributor in Hungary and Romania, we are pleased to present the Octoplant industrial IT/OT data management system, which centralises the software and configurations of devices used in manufacturing (e.g. PLCs, robots, SCADA systems). It offers an effective solution for version tracking and automatic backup of industrial automation systems. Octoplant not only increases operational safety, but also provides excellent support for compliance with the NIS2 directive, ensuring the transparent and auditable operation of critical systems.

Benefit from many advantages with Octoplant

  • Automatic fuse

    • Regularly backs up the programmes of machines and control systems
    • No manual backups required - lower probability of errors
  • Version tracking

    • Every change is saved
    • You can track who, when and what was changed
  • Security and compliance

    • Protection against data loss and unauthorised changes
    • Traceability required for audits (e.g. industry standards)
  • Fast recovery

    • In the event of a fault or failure, a previously functioning state can be restored immediately
    • Minimises production downtime
  • Full transparency

    • All devices and their status can be viewed in one place
    • Easier maintenance and troubleshooting

    Teva

Intelligent production in just a few steps

In the HEITEC-TEVA project, the main task was to connect TEVA's production systems to a digital platform in order to increase efficiency. To do this, the production plant at the Blaubeuren-Weiler site was connected to a virtual server using an edge gateway device to collect and analyse real-time production data without affecting the existing system. The main tasks included enabling data processing and visualisation through a web-based HMI application and optimising production through real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance, which increased machine availability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Optimisation of cycle times with the help of the digital twin

A leading international company in the fields of variable camshaft phasing units and transmission valves commissioned HEITEC to virtually commission an existing plant in order to identify potentials with the help of the digital twin on the basis of a cycle time optimisation measure and thus initiate targeted retrofit measures. In addition, technologies from the field of special machinery and plant engineering such as bulk material separation with 3D image recognition, belt and film conveying, new drive and clamping processes as well as software-in-the-loop with Siemens PLCSIM Advanced and Epson robot systems posed new challenges.
