HEITEC presents the latest innovation in the field of production technology: a compact and highly efficient deburring cell that processes your workpieces automatically.
 

Manual deburring presents a number of challenges that are increasingly causing problems for companies. One of the main disadvantages are factors that are harmful to health: the employees carrying out the work are often exposed to dirt and unfavourable ergonomic conditions. In addition, manual deburring can lead to fluctuations in the quality of workmanship, which can be problematic for companies that rely on consistently high standards. Another important aspect is the inefficient utilisation of human resources. In times of a shortage of skilled labour and increasing demands on competitiveness, companies are forced to deploy their employees for more demanding tasks.

Our new deburring cell promises to optimise production processes, increase product quality and free up valuable resources in the process. It is characterised by its compact size (1.9 x 2.6 x 2.5 metres) and offers space for up to eight different deburring spindles. The integrated turntable station enables loading during machining - either manually or in combination with an additional robot. Components can be processed flexibly here, regardless of the tool used. The entire deburring cell is mapped virtually in CAD/CAM software and the entire deburring process can be simulated realistically. This allows users to carry out quick and uncomplicated tests, including collision checks, by deburring new components with the respective tool in the simulation. This not only saves you time during set-up, but also reduces errors during operation.

    Production start from zero to one hundred with HeiDetect Wheel Robot

    Production start from zero to one hundred - In August 2020, four of the fully automatic HeiDetect Wheel Robot wheel testing systems from HEITEC PTS were to be put into operation at the BORBET Group's plant in Thuringia. The four wheel testing systems were to be 100% ready for production after the production break for the start of the foundry in Thuringia. The usual start-up time was not planned - from zero to one hundred was the motto! In addition, the entire production at BORBET in Thuringia was to be converted to 100% traceability of the wheel data across the entire value chain using DMC labelling.
