HEITEC inspires young women on Girls' Day 2025

Fascinating insights into the world of technology and digitalisation - from soldering a torch to virtual models using VR glasses.

On 3 April, HEITEC opened its doors for this year's Girls' Day and offered young women exciting insights into the world of technology. At the Erlangen and Eckental sites, the participants enjoyed a varied day full of practical experience.

In Erlangen, Girls' Day was all about automation, digital engineering, electronics and energy. The participants were able to operate an automated conveyor belt, explore virtual machines using VR glasses and put their manual skills to the test with soldering. The energy model from HEITEC Innovations GmbH impressively demonstrated how technology can contribute to sustainability.

At the Eckental site, the focus was on the Electronics division. Eleven young women were given an insight into various departments and in-house production. The highlight was a practical workshop in which the participants were allowed to solder their own torches and assemble housing models.

HEITEC would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment and is already looking forward to the next Girls' Day.
