The HEITEC Energy app has already been successfully used for some time to support companies in monitoring, visualising and optimising their energy consumption. Now the app not only has a completely revamped design, but is also eligible for funding in accordance with BAFA guidelines under ISO 50001.
Rising energy prices, stricter environmental regulations and increasing requirements for CO₂ transparency are presenting companies with new challenges. The HEITEC Energy App offers an innovative way to fulfil all legal obligations in energy management - and goes far beyond pure monitoring.
As part of the HEITEC Solution Centre, it provides a detailed asset overview. With the app, you can record all forms of energy - from electricity and compressed air to heating oil and gas in production and fuel for logistics - and immediately see what costs have been incurred and what emissions have been caused. Analyses are possible at machine, plant or site level, whether hourly or annually, and the reporting period can be flexibly adapted. Automated reports, threshold alarms and flexible data exports make audits and sustainability reports much easier.
With the current certification, the HEITEC Energy app fulfils the BAFA requirements for energy management software as well as all the requirements of ISO 50001 and reporting in accordance with DIN EN 16247.
Alongside the certification, the app has been given a new, user-friendly design - in either light or dark mode and with a fully responsive layout for all end devices. This means that the app can also be used on smartphones and tablets. This ensures intuitive operation and faster analyses.
In the future, the HEITEC Energy app will be able to determine and provide the product carbon footprint (PCF) in addition to all existing features in order to seamlessly enable extended reporting in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
