CHALLENGE

HanseWerk AG, with headquarters in Quickborn, Germany, is an energy service provider specializing in grid operation and decentralized power generation. The company – either itself or through its subsidiaries – operates around 51,000 kilometers of electric cables and 27,000 kilometers of gas lines in many municipalities in northern Germany. It supplies approximately 1.3 million customers with electricity, natural gas, water, and heat in the states of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, and Lower Saxony.

IMPLEMENTATION

To accommodate various changes in the substations, HEITEC was commissioned to expand the medium-voltage switchgear, for converting consumption measurements or integrating testing devices (ground-fault monitoring).

  • Conversion of switchgear panels and function testing.
  • Extreme flexibility in terms of deployments and deployment sites, thus reducing setup times and costs.
