Sustainability at HEITEC

At HEITEC, we pursue sustainability not only in an ecological sense, but also in a socio-economic sense.

Our corporate culture is driven by creativity, inclusion and team spirit. At HEITEC, we invest in the health of our people as well as their professional development. We recognise that as a company, we have the opportunity and responsibility to have a positive impact on our environment and the society we live in. 

As a company, we endeavour to reduce our energy consumption as well as our CO2 footprint. It is important to us to not just “talk the talk” but also “walk the talk”. 

Ecological sustainability at HEITEC

The consequences of climate change are one of the key challenges of the 21st century. Drastic global warming and changes to our ecological systems are resulting in dramatic consequences that we are increasingly feeling.

As a company, we are aware that we need to rationalise our use of natural resources in order to act sustainably in the long term. For this reason, we have set up a project group with the aim of anchoring ecological sustainability in our company's DNA and making it a central component of all our processes and actions.

At HEITEC, we want to set a good example and reduce energy consumption, costs and CO2 emissions in our company and for our customers through targeted measures.

Social responsibility at HEITEC

For us, sustainability means treating our employees well. At HEITEC, the physical and mental health of our colleagues is particularly important to us. To this end, we invest in a wide range of health and sports programmes and promote an open, inclusive and psychologically safe working environment.

Professional training and development is also an important issue for us to ensure that our employees have an exciting and long-lasting future with us.

As a family business, we value good and fair cooperation. We do not see diversity as a challenge, but as an opportunity for innovation, creativity and new possibilities. We want to foster a corporate culture that is inclusive and open to new ideas - free from prejudice and exclusion. As part of our "RIDE" network, which stands for respect, inclusion, diversity and equality, we have signed the Diversity Charter - another step in the right direction.

 

 

Charity work and sponsorships

For many years, we have supported many different organisations, such as Help! in Crailsheim, which is committed to providing medical care for disadvantaged people, or the "Schulfrucht" project, which is committed to educate kids on healthy nutrition from an early age. Throughout the year, we organise various fundraising campaigns, such as our Christmas fundraising campaign in favour of disadvantaged children or our baking campaign for Breast Cancer, and participate enthusiastically in various charity runs, such as the children's charity run in Amstetten, Lower Austria.

HEITEC has been involved in top-class sport for decades and also supports top athletes in their professional careers. We want to attract the best to our team and inspire them to join our technology company. In this way, we also improve the attractiveness of our various locations at home and abroad.
